The year got off to a flying start with a Change Makers event that proved so popular we had to change venue! Almost thirty attendees joined us in Totnes to understand more about the possibilities of using thermal imaging cameras with community groups.
Our goal is to create and restore habitats within the Yealm Catchment, working with professional partners such as Westcountry Rivers Trust, Devon Wildlife Trust, Woodland Trust, AONB, Dartmoor Parks Authority, National Trust.
We have been involved with 47 solar PV projects (Commercial & domestic) & are a delivery partner and share holder in Totnes Weir Hydro. Projects include - The Shine Project - Fuel Poverty project with SDRHA to install solar PV across 42 tenanted properties, resident receive solar electricity for free.
We cover project work and small woodwork tasks, with a focus on companionship and knowledge sharing.
