Sustainable South Hams are excited to be collaborating with South Hams District Council to assist in delivering their ambitious climate and biodiversity plans. With climate change and biodiversity issues high on the agenda for the new District Council administration, core funding has been pledged to assist Sustainable South Hams in our work inspiring, connecting and supporting local nature and climate action.

The 2023 Devon Local Nature Partnership (LNP) Conference centred around identifying priorities and actions for the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS).With around 200 attendees, the LNP conference was a wonderful opportunity for those working across the spectrum of environmental organisations in Devon to connect, collaborate and develop ideas.
Sustainable Littlehempston is a working group set up by the Parish Council to help improve biodiversity and tackle the climate crisis. Projects include: Tree planting and biodiversity in the parish, improving energy efficiency in parishioners homes, improving the walking and cycling connection to Totnes, helping parishioners grow and share food and reduce food waste.
