Tipping points are moments when small changes lead to big, sometimes irreversible changes in a system.

While negative tipping points can push us toward environmental breakdown, positive tipping points can drive transformative societal change for a sustainable future. These tipping points happen when a small but crucial shift in the adoption of renewable energy, rewilding projects, or changes in social attitudes towards recycling - reaches a critical mass and accelerates progress towards a sustainable future.

Whether it’s community-led rewilding, regenerative farming, or local energy projects, small actions add up. When enough people take part, it is possible to shift the system towards sustainability faster than we think.

On Wednesday 26th March we will be joined by Peter Lefort from University of Exeter to explore the actions we can take to reach positive tipping points for climate and nature.
