Kick 2025 off in style by giving back to nature and joining one of these super fun tree planting days!

South Brent

📍 Palstone Meadow

Join Sustainable South Brent for a Community Tree Planting Day at the new South Brent Woodland at Palstone Meadow. There will be a Woodland Naming Ceremony, guided introduction to the site, children’s nature activities, free tree for all volunteers, as well as food and drink. You might even spot a morris dancer or two!

The National Trust is running community tree planting days and coastal monitoring talks at Wembury Barton throughout January and February. This will form part of the Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest, a partnership between the National Trust, the Woodland Trust, Plymouth City Council and South Hams District Council, and is part of the wider Defra-funded Community Forest scheme. You will be rewarded for your help with a warm pasty and hot drinks!

Ok so not technically South Hams, but run by Moor Trees who are based here! Help to create new woodland by planting trees at Two Bridges. Everything you need to know will be demonstrated and gloves and tools are provided. Come along and meet some like-minded people and have fun!
