The National Energy Action Training team is offering funded places for a Level 2 Introduction to Domestic Renewable Energy course. There is currently availability for webinars in March. The course is free for not-for-profit organisations such ascommunity energy groups or local authorities.

It covers:

  • Decarbonisation
  • The main renewable heat technologies – biomass, heat pumps and solar thermal hot water
  • Renewable electricity – solar photovoltaics
  • The factors to consider before installing domestic renewable technologies
  • Advantages and drawbacks of the main technologies

It is at entry level, so may better suit newer team members who may be energy advisers but need to know something about renewables. Alternatively, it could be useful for those wanting a Level 2 qualification who might want on their CV or to use on a funding bid.
