FoSKE (Friends of Salcombe KIngsbridge Estuary), including Gary Jolliffe of Till the Coast is Clear and local artist Emma Jones, organised and supported a brilliant plastics clean up of the West Charleton estuary shoreline in early Febuary, followed by a fun art session in the Village Hall creating cyanotype images of some of the shore’s fragments of nature. Cyanotype, or sun-printing, is a very early form of photography and is a perfect medium to capture the beauty of seaweed and plants.
A big thank you to the organisers and supporters and well done to everyone who attended on a cold(!) February morning.
