Composting in the South Hams

It’s time for a compost update!

The recent storm meant that we were unable to proceed with our Home Composting Masterclass with Nicky Scott and Mel Harvey, however, this popular event will be rescheduled for the new year. Keep an eye on our newsletter to hear about it! 

In the meantime, feel free to peruse our library of composting resources. We have home composting factsheets on bokashis, daleks, biochar, and cones, as well as an array of compost workshop materials from SusSH Compost Mentor Ben Bryant’s workshops. Recently, Jane Nichols, our CEO shared an update with fabulous Mycelium Network about the efforts in the South Hams to increase the volume of material that is composted locally. The Street Compost Club has identified two potential sites and is currently in the research and planning phase, watch this space in the new year!
