About this event
Join us for a Changemakers Meeting all about energy efficiency.
Hear from our team of Sustainable South Hams Energy Mentors about various aspects of energy efficiency, particularly relating to public buildings, and explore the funding options available to community groups. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss the topics shared.
We will hear from the following:
Dan Parnell (SusSH) on Thermal Imaging relating to homes and public buildings.
Tony Lyle (SusSH) on engagement with public bodies in your community with a case study. Tony will also outline a possible travelling Energy Roadshow for community engagement
Sune Nightingale (SusSH) offers a simple comparison exercise for private and public buildings.
Mike Hodges (SusSH) will outline a tool for interested people or organisations to use to assess their public buildings.
Louisa Dean (Naturesave Trust) will be sharing news of a funding opportunity for community groups.
South Dartmoor Community Energy will cover help for vulnerable people, and options for the able to pay.
The meeting will be held in the Lovelace Room at The Mansion, 36 Fore Street, Totnes, TQ9 5RP
10.30am to 12pm.
We look forward to seeing you there!
